EXCELLENT Based on 66 reviews Tom S2025-05-05Verified Guaranteed care and attention, exceptional price and the best time! The five day Salkantay trek was one of the best things I have ever done. From the people I met, the memories, our guides (shoutout Ruben & Carlos) to the incredible views and endless laughs. I would recommend anyone to book with Peru Hike for guaranteed care and attention, exceptional price and the best time for your trek to Machu Picchu. Joelle A2025-04-22Verified Salkantay Trek - Abel We did the 4-day Salkantay Trek, and we loved it. Our guide, Abel, as well as the chef and sous chef, Edgar and Franklin, have been endlessly welcoming. The food was great. We learned a lot and had an amazing experience. Many thanks to the people who accompanied us. Max K2025-04-19Verified Beautiful Tour with great guide Amazing Tour!! We did the one day Inka trail and one day Machu Picchu with Percy. The tour is beautiful, through the green mountains with plenty of Inka ruins along the way, unique views of Machu Picchu on the first day and then of course the city itself on the second day.Communication was good from the start, the agency and guide were always available through email or whatsapp. Prices are very reasonable as well compared to other tours i’ve seen and we ended up being just us three friends and Percy! Amazing experience, would recommend. Rom S2025-04-03Verified Great hike all around, highly recommended We had a great time with PeruHike. The company was very responsive and adjusted the reservation to our needs. We were the only two people that signed up for this dates and still they didn’t cancel the tour and brought 3 crew members just for us. The guide was great, the food delicious and the entire camping experience felt 5 stars level. Karen2025-03-27Verified Top experience! The most beautiful trek we've ever done❤️. Excellent guide (Cecilio), cooks and horsemen! Perfect organisation, delicious food, good camping materials. Stunning views. So beautiful! Karo70002025-03-26Verified Thanks! Very cool hike/ride.It was a welcome relief to ride the horses after hiking around for days. Plus, it made the 15k elevation completly doable for me. It was such a beautiful contrast to the jungles of the Machu Piccu region. Complexy beautiful terrain, and an awe inspiring mountain. The experiance became spiritual at the base of Ausengate, I did not expect that, and it was beautiful. Thanks to Percy for teaching us about the offerrings to the mountain, and thanks for the wonderful stories! He was an excellent tour guide, and kept us well informed and communticated with throughout.Food was great, people were friendly, and the drive was long but easy. Thanks Peru Hikes! Lisa B2025-03-26Verified Ausangate trek with Cecilio Amazing 5 day trek ! We went with Cecilio and everything was perfectly organised. Vegetarian food was very good and the camping gear very well maintained. Julie F2025-03-22Verified Great food, great service, and great views! Just finished the most amazing trek with Peru Hike! We did the “Ausangate Trek To Rainbow Mountain 2 Days”. The views were stunning even though we had some snow and rain. Our guide Percy and the rest of the team took such good care of us. We felt like royals whose only mission was to walk and enjoy. They took care of the rest. We are so impressed by the food on this trek! The cook Wilbert managed to cook the most delicious food from tents and small cabins. He also adjusted all the food so that it was gluten free as we are gluten intolerant. We really appreciated that he put so much care and thought into the cooking, even though we have food restrictions. Our guide Percy was great. He gave us lots of interesting information and told us stories about the traditions and language of the Quechua people. He made us feel very safe regarding altitude sickness and took good care of us.We will remember this trek for the rest of our lifes, and will recommend this trek and this company a 100%! Frida M2025-03-14Verified really cool hike with Richard we went on a 4-day hike, where we saw the 7 lakes, ausangate and ended up in rainbow mountains and red valley (and a lot of alpacas). really cool experience, with good cooks and equipment (sleeping bag, tent, sleeping mat). really beautiful nature, with glacierlagoons, huge mountains...), but you can feel that you are high up! it was relatively cold and quite hard because of the thin air. So bring lots of warm clothes. But definitely worth it!!! Jay M2025-02-11Verified Amazing 3 day, 2 night Lares Trek including Machu Picchu Did the Lares Trek including Machu Picchu with Peru Hike and they got in contact with me quickly to let me know I was the only one booked and could pay a slightly higher premier and do it as an individual! It was absolutely brilliant, my guide Percy, was a legend and was happy to go at the pace I set and therefore aloud us to do more hiking that was initially intended. We was also incredibly knowledgeable and My muler and chef, Reymundo and Francisco, were incredibly helpful and warm. The trek itself is a ripper. Really good. Fairly challenging but nothing someone of moderate fitness (I'm 34 and normally a runner) ability couldn't handle. The views were spectacular and I had enough time to go to the Thermal Baths in Lares which was a big win.The change over catching the train and accommodation in Machu Picchu town was very solid. Everything made sense and my guide, Wilbur was there at the train station to get me. Machu Picchu itself is simply incredible and Wilbur was absolutely excellent. The tent on the night of camping was also great, spacious and warm enough considering i has given an extra blanket and hot water bottle. The only small inclusion I would potentially have is to bring a portable toilet seat considering the cost of the tour for a tiny bit of extra comfort.Otherwise, it was an awesome experience and I wouls highly recommend to anyone thinking of doing this trip!
